To make the most of life there are certain things that you must know. To realize your heart's desire, you must step out of your own misery and leave it forever. This requires Self-Knowledge and conscious action.

• To be seen you must make yourself visible.
• To be valuable you must do something of value.
• To be important you must do something important.
• To be remembered you must do something memorable.
• To be wanted you must create something that people want.
• To leave a living legacy for those you love, you must create one.

Most of us are unaware of the things we do in life. Like children playing a game, we unconsciously choose the roles we play, the ups, downs and conflicts.

More than two-thousand years ago, a famed Chinese warrior, Sun Tzu, wrote an important book called, The Art of War. He poignantly reminds us that conflict is an opportunity for success and self-discovery, and that the strategy of warfare, when used for peace, is the perfect formula for success. His main theme goes like this:

• Know your enemy & know yourself, and in a hundred battles you will never be defeated.
• If you are ignorant of the enemy, but you do know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal.
• If you are ignorant of both your enemy and yourself, you are sure to be defeated in every battle.

Self-Knowledge is the first step toward being your Personal best. It is the key to victory in war and peace, and it is your responsibility to attain it.
